Effect of Scrap Steel Crushing and Dust Removal Treatment:
The recycling and reuse of scrap steel is a policy supported industry that promotes energy conservation, reduces consumption, turns waste into treasure, and beautifies the environment. Enterprises produce scrap materials such as corner steel, color steel waste from factory construction, and scrap cars. After crushing and sorting, heating and pressing, and using a series of steelmaking processes, the scrap steel is transformed into finished steel. During the process of crushing and sorting scrap steel, significant dust is generated, polluting the surrounding environment. Metal crushers are generally hammer impact crushers, which rely on the strong inertial impact force of the alloy heavy hammer rotating on the disc to tear the scrap steel into fragments. However, due to the fact that scrap steel generally contains impurities such as paint, soil, and floating rust, it generates significant dust and pollutes the environment when violently struck.
The main task of steel crushing and dust removal is to extract air and remove dust from the inlet, main machine compartment, outlet, and sorting points of the crusher. Offline pulse bag dust collectors are generally used for crushing and dust removal of scrap steel. When designing this dust removal system, the following points are generally noted:
1Ash unloading blockage
The dust collected from the crushing and dust removal of scrap steel contains a lot of short fiber like paint skin debris, mixed with dust. When the dust falls, it is easy to block and cannot be discharged. In response to this situation, our company has developed a special ash unloading equipment to promote the smoothness of ash unloading。
2、Pipeline blockage
Because the dust collected from the crushing and dust removal of scrap steel contains a large amount of short fiber like impurities, which are mixed with dust and have significant blocking characteristics, the design of the pipeline network should have a high wind speed and a wind sweeping function to prevent dust from settling and accumulating in the pipeline and blocking it. At the same time, the wall thickness of the pipeline should consider wear resistance.
